Autumn Textiles - Community Textile Workshop for Older People

An upcoming Textiles Workshop at the local library for older people in the community. The workshop will be a relaxed introduction to punch needling and simple textile techniques, using autumn colours, textures and patterns as inspiration.

Participants create their own small textile piece to take home.

The aim is to give older people a chance to be creative, learn something new and spend time with others in a friendly, informal setting. I’d also like the workshop to encourage people to continue making and exploring textiles at home, while helping to bring people together through creativity.
